Terms & Conditions
This website is operated by B.K. Colour Chem, Gopi Ganj, Sadabad Gate, Hathras (204101), Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
1. About this website
The content here — product descriptions, specifications and images — is provided for general information about what we manufacture. Product photographs are illustrative; the exact appearance of board, print and finish varies with the material and specification of your order.
The text, layout, logo and brand name on this site belong to us. You may not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
2. Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise, and may be revised earlier if the price of Kraft paper or other raw material changes materially. Unless a quotation says otherwise, prices are exclusive of GST and freight.
3. Orders and specifications
An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing — by email, purchase order or WhatsApp. For custom sizes and printed boxes, production begins only after you have approved the specification and, where printing is involved, the artwork or a physical sample. You are responsible for the accuracy of dimensions, artwork, text and barcodes you supply.
4. Manufacturing tolerances
Corrugated packaging is manufactured to commercial tolerances. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the following apply and do not constitute a defect:
- Quantity supplied may vary by up to ±5% of the ordered quantity; you are invoiced for the quantity actually delivered.
- Box dimensions may vary by up to ±3 mm.
- Board weight (GSM) and bursting strength may vary within normal mill tolerance.
- Printed colours may vary slightly between production runs; Kraft board is a natural material and its shade varies between batches.
5. Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing for each order — typically an advance against custom orders, with the balance before dispatch. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
6. Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match the agreed specification, subject to the tolerances above. Our liability for any claim is limited to the invoice value of the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of contracts, or damage to the goods you pack in our cartons, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.
Our boxes are packaging materials. Deciding whether a particular box is suitable for your product, weight, stacking pattern and transport route is your responsibility; we are glad to advise, and recommend testing before committing to a large order.
7. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including raw-material shortages, power failure, transport disruption, strikes, fire, flood, epidemic or government action.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here on the date your order is confirmed is the version that applies to that order.
Privacy Policy
We keep this simple, because this website collects very little.
1. What we collect
Only what you choose to tell us: your name, email address, phone number and the details of your packaging requirement, when you use the enquiry form or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
2. How the enquiry form works
This is worth stating plainly. The quotation form on our website does not send anything to a server of ours. When you press "Send Requirement on WhatsApp", the details you typed are assembled into a WhatsApp message and WhatsApp opens with that message ready — you then choose whether to send it to us. Nothing leaves your device until you press send in WhatsApp, and this website has no database, no user accounts, and stores nothing about you.
Once you send it, the message reaches us through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email bkcolourchem@gmail.com or call us instead.
3. Why we use it
To prepare quotations, fulfil and deliver orders, raise invoices, and reply to you. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell them.
4. Who else sees it
- WhatsApp (Meta). Enquiries sent through the quotation form reach us as WhatsApp messages, held in that account.
- Our email provider. Enquiries sent by email are held with our provider.
- Transporters. For delivery we pass the consignee name, address and phone number to the transport company carrying your goods.
- Where the law requires it, for example tax and GST records.
We do not share your information with anyone else.
5. Third-party services this website uses
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. This is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp. Our WhatsApp buttons open a chat with us on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
We use no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social-media pixels.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as they are useful, and deleted on request. Records relating to actual orders are kept for as long as tax and accounting law in India requires.
7. Your choices
Write to bkcolourchem@gmail.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, except where we are legally required to retain it.
8. Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children.
Shipping Policy
1. Where we dispatch from
All goods are dispatched from our works at Gopi Ganj, Sadabad Gate, Hathras (204101), Uttar Pradesh. We supply customers across India.
2. Lead time
Typical production time is 7 to 14 working days from the later of order confirmation and artwork or sample approval. Large or heavily printed orders may take longer; we confirm a dispatch date for your specific order at the time we accept it. Corrugated boxes are bulky, so scheduling depends on both production and vehicle availability.
3. Freight and risk
Unless the quotation states otherwise, prices are ex-works — freight is arranged on your behalf and charged to you, and goods travel at your risk once handed to the transporter. We are happy to arrange a transporter, or to load a vehicle you send.
4. On delivery — please check the consignment
Count the cartons and inspect the packaging before signing the transporter's receipt (LR / POD). If anything is short or visibly damaged, record it on the receipt at the time of delivery and photograph it. A claim for transit damage is very difficult to pursue against a transporter once a clean receipt has been signed.
5. Storage
Corrugated board absorbs moisture, which reduces its strength. Store cartons flat, off the floor, away from damp and direct sunlight. We cannot accept claims for loss of strength caused by storage conditions after delivery.
6. Delays
We will tell you as soon as we know if a dispatch date is going to slip. We are not liable for delays caused by the transporter or by the events described in the Terms.
Refund Policy
1. Custom-manufactured goods
Almost everything we make is manufactured to your specification — your dimensions, your board grade, your printing. Because these goods cannot be resold to anyone else, they cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind, or because you ordered the wrong size or quantity. Please check the specification carefully before approving it.
2. When we will put things right
We will replace, credit or refund goods that are:
- materially different from the specification you approved;
- defective in manufacture — for example delamination, mis-scoring, or board that does not meet the agreed grade; or
- short-supplied beyond the quantity tolerance set out in the Terms.
3. How to raise a claim
Tell us within 7 days of delivery, by email to bkcolourchem@gmail.com or on WhatsApp, with:
- your invoice number and date;
- clear photographs of the problem, including the affected cartons in the bundle; and
- the approximate quantity affected.
Please keep the affected goods available for inspection and do not use them, as using them is generally taken as acceptance. We may ask to collect samples or to inspect the consignment.
4. What happens next
Where a claim is accepted, our normal remedy is to replace the affected quantity in the next production run, or to issue a credit note against your account. A monetary refund is made where replacement is not practical, to the original payment method, normally within 10 working days of the claim being agreed.
5. What is not covered
- Variations within the tolerances set out in the Terms, including shade variation in Kraft board.
- Damage in transit where a clean transporter's receipt was signed (see the Shipping Policy).
- Loss of strength caused by damp, poor storage or overloading after delivery.
- A box proving unsuitable for a product or transport route where we were not asked to advise on the specification.
6. Cancellations
An order can be cancelled without charge before production or printing begins. After that, we will charge for material already converted and work already done.
